Spread Bagelry makes bagels in the tradition of the bakers who brought their old-world recipes from Eastern Europe to Montreal in the early 1900s. After boiling its bagels in honeyed water, they are then baked in small batches throughout the day in our wood-fired ovens. Generously coated in toppings without restraint. The meats on its sandwiches are roasted in those same ovens, and they hand make their spreads with local, farm-fresh ingredients. The mission is quite simple: to make the best bagels in the world.
